CT post-contrast T1 post-gad T2

Diagnosis: CNS Lymphoma

CNS lymphoma typically presents from age 60 to 70 if the patient is not immunocompromised. It accounts for 1-2% of CNS neoplasms. The usual locations are periventricular, basal ganglia or callosal. Lymphoma may have increased attenuation on non-enhanced CT and decreased T2 signal secondary to the high cellularity of the tumor. Intense, homogeneous enhancement is typical. Necrosis is usually seen only in immunocompromised patients. Astrocytoma, lymphoma, demyelination and metastases are the classic entities which cross the corpus.
