Findings: Bright mass (a) in the medial aspect of the left middle cranial fossa pushing the amygdala (amy) in the mesial temporal lobe superiorly and effacing the choroidal fissure. Compare to choroidal fissure on the other side (cf). Multiple foci of increased signal in the subarachnoid spaces particularly the Sylvian fisures (Syl). Cisternal segment of the right trigeminal nerve (V). Basilar artery (ba). Third ventricle (3v). Optic chiasm (chi).
