T2 axials

Findings: Large, confluent region of increased T2 signal in the white matter of the left frontal lobe with minimal mass effect for its size with extension into the posterior limb of the internal capsule on the left and the insular white matter. There is some mass effect upon the ipsilateral putamen (a) and globus pallidus (b) which are pushed posteromedialy along with the left thalamus (c). Second focus of increased T2 signal in the subcortical white matter of the left parasagittal posterior frontal lobe (d).
