Findings: Soft tissue (a) between the scutum (sc) and the malleus (mal) on the left. No scutal erosion. More soft tissue inferiorly (b) in the hypotympanum. Falciform crest (falc). Tympanic membrane (tm). Basal turn of the cochlea (btc). Vestibule (vest). Superior semicircular canal (sscc). Horizontal semicircular canal (hscc). Tegmen tympani (teg). Internal carotid artery (ica). Tympanic portion of the facial nerve (fn) above the semicanal for the tensor tympani (tt).
